Welcome to Simplicity and Self-Discovery

An Analogy of Life

Imagine your life as a time-honored table, standing straight with four sturdy legs and a strong tabletop, poised to deal with anything that comes your way. Each leg represents a vital aspect of your existence - simple wealth, sihealth, simple connections, and simple knowledge, while the tabletop embodies the culmination of your self-confidence. Your Life Table is a solid foundation empowering you to deal with life's challenges with grace and wisdom.

In the modern world, we tend to create complexity, striving for success through relentless hustling and hard work. However, this path often leads to stress, burnout, and an unfulfilled existence. There is another way - it is time to shift our focus, tap into our unique potential, and embrace a philosophy of ‘Simple, Sensible Selfishness’.

Midlife Mojo

You are a unique individual, and change begins with you - internally/externally and individually. There are times when life's challenges throw us off balance, leaving us feeling wonky - like a four-legged table with one leg missing.

To reclaim your Mojo, we must strengthen all aspects of our Life Table, nurturing each leg and the sturdy tabletop. Simplifying your life, understanding yourself deeply, and releasing resistance to change opens the door to truth, joy, and freedom.

Mojo, defined as the quality that attracts people and brings success and energy, finds its source in a Life Table that is sturdy and strong. The journey from crisis to confidence and clarity requires down-to-earth, step-by-step strategies that lead to a meaningful and fulfilling life. Amidst the complexities of existence, we seek answers to these questions:

  • Does life have to be so hard?
  • What is the true meaning of life?
  • How can we make a difference?

Stripping away the clutter and focusing on the simple essentials brings contentment and a deeper connection to our unique place within the interconnectedness of life.

Simplicity is Well-being

Simplicity leads you to the trans-rational side, where bliss resides. The gift of simplicity lies in the ability to appreciate life's simple pleasures - deep breaths, the scent of roses, and the healing power of nature. However, in a world filled with constant busyness and doing, it takes courage to trust, relax, and truly be present in the moment.

Living a simple life is not about fixing yourself; it's about creating space to discover meaning and stripping away the non-essential parts. Embracing intuition, autonomy, and individualism, you manifest the reality you truly desire, fueled by the conscious awareness of Oneness and Enoughness.

By decluttering both physical and mental baggage, you create the space needed to see things as they are. Simplicity allows you to focus on what truly matters, letting go of societal expectations and connecting with your authentic self. Space becomes your final frontier, enabling essential processes of existence and empowering you on this transformative journey of simplicity and self-discovery.

As we navigate the path of simplicity, we invoke the wisdom of Henry David Thoreau, "Simplicity, Simplicity, Simplicity! We are happy in proportion to the things we can do without." Embrace simplicity, and you shall discover the key to a simple life, one that unlocks freedom, fulfillment, and a profound sense of connectedness to all that surrounds you.

Wealth - The First Leg

Just like a table relies on sturdy legs to stand firm, financial stability forms the first essential leg of a woman's life. Accumulating wealth doesn't necessarily mean amassing vast riches; it's about securing a comfortable and worry-free future. Financial independence empowers women over 45 to make choices that align with their passions and values.

Simple Wealth: Understanding True Abundance

In the journey of life, the first sturdy leg that supports the table of our existence is simple wealth – a concept that goes beyond mere monetary riches. It is about understanding and defining what "enough" means to you personally. In this age of consumerism and material obsession, cultivating financial flow and eliminating debt become priorities. Simple wealth liberates you from the fixation on physical objects and empowers you to focus on what truly matters.

The harsh reality of our times reveals that we are living longer, yet many are facing the challenges of financial insecurity and poverty in their later years. Startling statistics show that one in three of the UK population will have only a state pension available at retirement, leaving most over 65 unable to afford to retire. Money issues are among the main culprits affecting the stability of our life table.

Are you aware of whether your finances will sustain the extra years you will live? Can you envision living the life you desire in the decades to come? If not, what are you going to do differently? The path to financial flow and abundance lies within your answers.

Money is more than just currency; it is energy harnessed to make your lives more comfortable and fulfilling. While some have successfully tapped into this energy, others remain constrained by limiting beliefs.

Joan Say’s

“I had an upbringing in a working-class family where money was rarely discussed. We lived contentedly with what we needed, buying only when we had the finances to do so. The notion of not using other people's money was instilled in me, a belief that, while well-intentioned, held me back from exploring greater possibilities.

We followed societal expectations, the big costly wedding, getting a mortgage for a home, and having kids all with a happy retirement in our sites. It never came. Instead, we found ourselves stuck for many years between the financial woes of kids' education and aging parents. Our bank balance was always negative.

In later life, as I became wiser I realized I had left all financial aspects to my husband who knew as little as I did. When he died I had to step up, by then it felt too late. I was full of regrets and spent years fretting and worrying instead of enjoying them.”

Financial Blockages

In the Western world, money has become a taboo subject, we swing from one side to the other - boasting or avoiding conversations altogether. Common refrains such as "I cannot afford it," "That is too expensive," or "I am not worthy" echo across our society. The fear of standing out from the crowd and the perceived limitations keep us locked in The Super Mario Syndrome, the video game character, stuck on the same level, living our days without venturing beyond our self-imposed reality. Changing this reality demands awareness and curiosity about the choices we make.

To break free, you must get curious about financial flow and wealth. Define your version of "enough" by first exploring your desires, fears, and attitudes. Uncover the threads that connect you to abundance and the blockages that hold you back. Reflect on questions such as:

  • What is stopping me from manifesting the wealth I want?
  • What am I afraid of?
  • What energy am I attracting?
  • What do I truly want?

Three primary areas often cause blockages:

1. Family Influence: The beliefs and teachings surrounding money from family can shape your financial behaviors and mindset. These influences create either a default setting that follows their patterns or a rebellious stance that goes against their ways.

2. Self-Worth: Feeling unworthy of money can permeate into other aspects of life, hindering personal growth and fulfillment. As Marianne Williamson beautifully puts it, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."

3. Life's Work: True wealth extends beyond individual finances and encompasses how we relate to others and the service we offer. When we give with grace, we form connections and open up new worlds. These acts of giving often lead to the beautiful cycle of reciprocity and the realization that happiness lies not in possessions but in the contentment of the heart.

Health - The Second Leg

A robust table needs a second leg of good health. As women age, nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being becomes increasingly crucial. The significance of self-care, exercise, a balanced diet, and mental wellness practices needs space to explore and evaluate. By valuing health, women over 45 can continue to lead fulfilling lives in the third stage, pursue dreams, and change the world!

Health questions to continually ask:

  • How well am I today?
  • What can I do differently?
  • What needs attention?

Below are a few areas for consideration as you ask the questions above. This is not a definitive list and there are areas you may wish to add or explore in more detail. Follow the links below for further information.

Nurturing Your Body and Mind for Resilience

Simple health embodies a profound care for your future physical and mental/emotional well-being, leading you from refrain/abuse of your body and mind in the present. Recognizing the significance of reducing toxicity and stress, good nutrition, hydration, exercise, sleep, and breathwork.

Toxicity: Whether in our relationships, food choices, or environment, toxicity plays a significant role in our overall health. Eliminating toxic relationships and opting for nourishing connections is just the beginning.

Taking a closer look at the household cleaning products, personal hygiene items, and makeup products we use is equally vital. A conscious switch to organic and toxin-free alternatives can have a profound impact on our well-being. (Avoid products with synthetic musk, as they are known endocrine disruptors that can wreak havoc on menopause hormonal balance).

Minimizing plastic usage is essential for long-term health. Plastic particles can accumulate in our bodies over time, negatively affecting the immune and gut systems. Taking steps to reduce plastic consumption contributes to a healthier environment and, ultimately, a healthier self.

Stress: A term commonly used to describe the body's natural response to various demands, pressures, or challenges in life. It is a physiological and psychological reaction that occurs when an individual perceives a situation as overwhelming or threatening, whether real or imagined.

The body will release stress hormones, such as cortisol and adrenaline, which increase heart rate, blood pressure, and alertness. While stress can be a normal and necessary aspect of life, chronic or excessive stress can have negative effects on physical and mental health. Prolonged exposure to stress can lead to a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive problems, weakened immune systems, and cardiovascular diseases.

Anxiety and stress seem to be part of living in a modern world. As we grapple with midlife and all it entails we can often feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. Stress is a fickle being and means different things to everyone. When we understand bodies ‘fight, flight or friend" response at a deeper level we have the necessary tools to utilize its power and potential.

Nutrition: Sustainable nutrition is an internal journey, a harmonious relationship between you and your body. By listening to its cues and working in synergy, you can unlock your body's innate cleansing system without any costly investments - it's entirely free. Discovering which foods energize and nourish you, as well as identifying those that deplete your vitality, leads to a natural inclination towards simplicity. Fruits and vegetables, grains and legumes, seeds and nuts, and occasional white meat and fish become your allies in this nourishing dance with your body.

Natural sustainable nutrition is a dietary approach that focuses on consuming food in its most natural and unprocessed state, while also considering the impact on the environment and the ability to maintain this dietary pattern over the long term. It involves selecting foods that are not only nutritious but also sourced and produced in a way that minimizes harm to the planet and supports the well-being of both present and future generations.

Hydration: Hydration is crucial for maintaining good health and supporting various bodily functions: regulating body temperature, removing waste, the function of vital organs, physical and mental performance, digestion and absorption of nutrients, skin, joints, and tissue health, energy levels, and supporting the immune system.

The recommended daily intake of water can vary based on factors such as age, gender, activity level, and climate. Generally, the "8x8 rule" is a good guideline: aim to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day (about 2 liters or half a gallon). However, individual needs may vary, so it's essential to listen to your body and drink water whenever you feel thirsty. Additionally, factors like sweating, illness, or pregnancy may increase the need for hydration.

Exercise: Exercise is essential for women over 45 for a variety of reasons. As we age, our bodies undergo numerous changes, and regular physical activity becomes even more crucial to maintain overall health and well-being.

Before starting any exercise program, women over 45 need to consult with their healthcare provider, especially if they have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns. A tailored exercise routine that considers individual needs and abilities will help ensure safe and effective results.

Sleep: For women over 45, sleep becomes even more critical due to peri-menopause and menopause. Good sleep aids with bone health, cardiovascular health, weight management, cognitive function, stress reduction, and immune system support.

To promote better sleep quality for women over 45, establish healthy sleep habits, such as maintaining a regular sleep schedule, creating a relaxing bedtime routine, keeping the bedroom comfortable and conducive to sleep, and managing stress through relaxation techniques or other strategies. If sleep disturbances persist, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional to address any underlying issues and receive appropriate guidance.

Breathing: A deep breath not only oxygenates the body, revitalizing our cells, but it also serves as an oasis of calm amid life's storms. Breathing is an involuntary action that sustains our very existence, but when practiced with intention, it becomes a profound act of self-care and mindfulness. With each deep inhalation, fresh oxygen rushes into our lungs, fueling our bloodstream and energizing every cell in our body. The act of deep breathing brings an immediate sense of relief, slowing the heart rate, calming the nervous system, and lowering cortisol levels - the stress hormone.

Embracing the habit of intentional deep breathing throughout the day can yield remarkable benefits. Not only does it provide stress relief, but it can also help expel stored body fat. When we experience stress, our bodies release cortisol, signaling our cells to store fat, often in the abdominal region. By engaging in regular deep breathing, we counteract this process, effectively promoting weight management and overall well-being.

Mindfulness: Being mindful of what we do to our bodies aids our mental capabilities. For example, taking time to assess the products we bring into our lives includes reading labels and understanding the consequences. When we take note of the secondary effects of medicines, dietary supplements, and other drugs we can choose to opt for simple and natural to promote our well-being.

Be curious, do not believe a word anyone says, including yourself. Be open to change as new beliefs and ideas come forward. Above all else, listen to your body, you know it better than anyone else.

Connections - The Third Leg

The third leg of the table represents the importance of nurturing meaningful connections with others. Whether it's family, friends, or a broader community, maintaining strong relationships provides a support network during life's trials. Begin this section by asking yourself, who am I spending time with and why?

Nurturing Meaningful Bonds for a Connected Life

True connections go beyond casual acquaintances; they embody a deep understanding of the importance of serving others, fostering genuine and compassionate interactions, and inviting only trusted individuals into our lives who bring out the best in us. Simple connections enhance our lives with a sense of belonging, support, and purpose.

Consider the people you can rely on in your world right now – the ones you would turn to for help in times of need. Meaningful connections create a safety net that provides comfort during life's trials. Unfortunately, over 3,9 million UK citizens suffer from chronic loneliness. The modern world, while increasingly interconnected through technology, has paradoxically led to a sense of isolation. Face-to-face interactions have often been replaced by interactions through screens, leading to a longing for authentic human connection.

Yet, amidst this backdrop, there is hope for change. For those who seize the opportunity, meaningful connections become a source of strength and happiness. The happiest and most successful individuals maintain large circles of influence, knowing that support will always be available when they hit rough patches. Envision your circle of connections as a web of interdependent relationships, each thread holding the potential to offer support and aid.

Lynn Say’s

“In my circle, I have friends dealing with various life challenges, including caring for parents with Alzheimer's, coping with the loss of a loved one, supporting a daughter in the hospital, celebrating a new grandchild, and launching new businesses.

I love that we are a diverse group with our challenges yet I am also aware that if I need help, not many will be able to drop everything and come to my aid. Just as I know some days I am unable to do the same for other friends. We form a strong mutual support and care network, yet I have realized contrary to my perceptions, at this moment in time, I need to extend my network.

I also made the connection between my genuine network and those people who created negative or draining feelings within me. I began by removing these people from my life and if I could not remove them at least avoid them as much as possible.

My larger positive network now creates a bigger net of help and support. It takes time, something I feel I often have little of, yet looking back it has been well worth the effort.”

How to Create and Cultivate Connections

To cultivate meaningful connections and dispel loneliness, consider these three suggestions:

1. Appreciate and Strengthen Existing Bonds: Reflect on your current relationship circle and rate yourself on how proactive you are in reaching out to friends spontaneously. Make a concerted effort to consistently follow up with your existing connections before expanding your network. Nurture and cherish these bonds to create a foundation of genuine friendships.

2. Be a Leader in Connection: Take the initiative to reach out and connect with others. Share your experiences, thoughts, and emotions with honesty and vulnerability. Being the one who initiates communication can foster deeper connections and encourage others to do the same. Be open to stretching beyond your comfort zone to find new friends and common interests.

3. Embrace Diversity in Connections: Examine your existing friendships and consider whether you have limited your relationships to individuals who are similar to you in interests and backgrounds. Embracing diversity in your circle brings new perspectives and harmony to different facets of life. Seek connections with people from various walks of life to enrich your experiences and understanding.

Take proactive steps to foster and nurture your connections. Keep a record of your connections, their life journeys, and the last time you reached out and connected. Embrace new acquaintances with courage, creativity, and integrity. In today's interconnected world, you have the opportunity to expand your network globally through the internet. Set your intention and take small steps each day to actively cultivate relationships. As you invest in the power of connections, you will witness the joyful trickle of its impact on every aspect of your life.

4. Knowledge - The Fourth Leg

The fourth leg, knowledge, embodies the intellectual growth and curiosity that add depth and dimension to life. Learning should never cease, regardless of age. Women over 45 have a wealth of life experience and when it has been audited, they can seek further knowledge, explore new passions, and embrace learning opportunities that continue to enrich their lives.

Empowering Your Journey with Lifelong Learning

As we delve into the fourth and final sturdy leg of our life's table, we encounter the essence of simple knowledge - an unwavering passion for learning and the wisdom to seek assistance when faced with unfamiliar territories. In this era of technological revolution, knowledge has become an indispensable currency, and the thirst for new skills and information has never been more important. However, it's equally essential to recognize the value of our existing knowledge and expertise, even without formal certificates.

In midlife, some women may grapple with feelings of invisibility and obsolescence, but it doesn't have to be that way. We each hold a unique purpose on this planet - to contribute and help others in our distinct ways. Our knowledge, skills, and experiences are invaluable assets that have accumulated over time, often without official recognition. Whether you are an adept cook, nurse, linguist, or listener, these skills hold tremendous value in shaping your journey beyond midlife.

Sue's Story

Sue's decision to leave the corporate world and take over the flower shop revealed the potential for reinvention and new beginnings in midlife. However, her experience also underscored the importance of a crucial step often overlooked by many - a skills audit. Before venturing into new endeavors, it is essential to identify and acknowledge what we do not know, to seek the necessary skills and knowledge for success. Without due diligence, rash decisions can lead to potential failures.

“I was at the top of my game in the corporate world. I had reached the glass ceiling. The long hours, the commute to work which wasted time, and my tenuous place in the company finally got to me. I quit. My kids had flown the nest, yet my husband was still working. I felt I was too young to retire. When I did the math and worked out how much I would have to survive on I she lived to 100. (Included was the rise in the cost of living and the decrease in pension), I found there was just no way to sit still.

I decided to take over the flower shop on the local high street and used part of my retirement fund. Within a short space of time, it became apparent that it had been a mistake. Running my own business needed a new set of skills, some I had limited access to, others I had just not foreseen. As I watched my hard-earned cash disappear, I saw that I had forgotten the one fundamental step - A skills audit. You have to know what you do not know.

Luckily, I took the time to breathe and reassess. I sought the help of friends with business knowledge, access to potential clients, and a marketing expert. More cash went out the door but slowly I turned a corner. It has been such a stressful time that as soon as I clawed back my money, I sold.

The great thing was the experience, I used the steep learning curve to begin another project. Which suits my skill set. I now help other women create skills audits as part of a start-up business package.”

Note - Nearly 50% of all business startups never reach past the first five years. 46% of those businesses sighted incompetence as the reason for failure. Without due diligence, taking out your lump sum pension and plowing it into a new business could be disastrous.

Consider the following three questions:

1. What Do I Know?

Take a deep dive into the vast array of skills and experiences you have accumulated over your lifetime. Through reflection, you may discover a multitude of areas where you possess expertise, some of which you may have overlooked or undervalued. Think - taxi driver, nurse, cook, sex kitten, communicator, intermediary, educator, etc.

2. What Do I Want to Know?

Create a list of topics that genuinely interest you and spark curiosity. Embrace a learner's mindset and be open to expanding your knowledge in areas that captivate your imagination. As you venture into new territories, consider forming a support network, including family, friends, mentors, or coaches, who can provide guidance and encouragement.

3. What Do I Not Want to Know?

Recognize that we cannot be experts in everything, and there may be certain areas you either dislike or lack proficiency in. Honesty is key when creating this list. Identify potential helpers or resources for these areas, allowing you to focus on your strengths and production areas.

Remember, age should never be a barrier to pursuing your dreams or embracing new opportunities. Whether it's studying for a degree, contributing to a charity, or embarking on a world tour, the desire for knowledge can be your starting block. Embrace the power of lifelong learning, for knowledge, is the gateway to unlocking your potential and embarking on a purposeful journey.

5. Self-Confidence - The Strong Tabletop

The tabletop crowning the sturdy legs of the table symbolizes self-confidence. Believing in oneself and embracing individuality empowers women over 45 to flow through life's challenges with grace and resilience. A strong table opens the door to possibilities never imagined.

Know Thyself: Embracing Wholeness and Simplicity

As we gaze upon the sturdy tabletop of our life's table, we recognize its deep patina, a testament to the years we have spent on this beautiful journey. The tabletop represents the culmination of our mental, physical, and spiritual selves, connecting all the elements of our life. It stands as a reflection of who we are today, an embodiment of our strengths and imperfections, held together with depth and strength.

A great tabletop functions optimally when we cultivate self-love and pride in ourselves, accepting all aspects of who we are - the good and the not-so-good. Embracing Sensible Selfishness, we recognize the importance of putting ourselves first, not in a selfish or narcissistic manner, but from a place of fullness. By nurturing our well-being, we create the space to serve others with authenticity and abundance.

Your Table Top

Take time to look at other areas affecting your tabletop in the sections below and adjust and hone what feels right for you.

Intuition: At the heart of a robust tabletop lies our intuition - a profound guide in embracing simplicity. When we truly understand and honor ourselves, we tap into the wisdom of our intuition, guiding us to make choices that align with our deepest desires and values. Being unapologetically ourselves becomes a precious gift to ourselves and the world.

Care: Unfortunately, many individuals fall short of caring for their tabletops. Lost in the relentless demands of caring for others, they neglect their own needs, allowing their tabletops to be buried under the clutter of external obligations and expectations. They struggle to define their identity, finding it challenging to be comfortable in the spotlight or to prioritize their well-being.

Fear: often stands in the way of embracing simplicity. Fear, often referred to as "fantasized experiences appearing real," can cloud our judgment and hinder our growth. However, understanding fear and its impact is vital to simplifying our lives and embracing our wholeness.

Mindset Auditing

Neglect and lack of self-awareness perpetuate a cycle of lack and dissatisfaction, affecting not only you but also those you love the most. It is time to declutter the tabletop, an internal process that begins with auditing your mindset. Thoughts shape our feelings, intentions, and actions, ultimately manifesting our reality. When we carry intentions but neglect daily actions, we may find ourselves caught in a web of frustration and overwhelm.

By auditing our mindset and thought patterns, we gain the power to cultivate thoughts that serve us in the present and create a promising future. Embracing self-awareness, self-love, and the guidance of intuition, we strengthen our tabletop to support the weight of life's challenges and triumphs.

The Missing Piece - Seeing The Wood For The Trees

In our pursuit of simplifying and decluttering our life tables, we recognize that our personal growth and transformation also serve the greater good. Embracing simplicity not only benefits ourselves but also ripples through our relationships with children, communities, colleagues, and humanity as a whole. However, letting go of what no longer serves us can be challenging when we are deeply entrenched in the busyness of life, unable to see the wood for the trees.

As we explore the complexities of caring for our life's table, we come to understand that many people including ourselves are uneducated in the art of nurturing. Some are proficient in certain areas, yet they falter in others, often burdened by the clutter and influences of others. Without proper guidance, tapping into our true potential can feel impossible.

In life's journey, no one was taught at school the essential tools necessary to maintain their life table. While some may achieve success on their own through a lifetime of self-learning, there are better ways to flow on this path. Seeking help from those with more life experience can offer valuable insights and support.

Be open to finding mentors or strategists who can guide you through one life section. Then when you find this area in flow, look for others who can walk with you on the next part of your journey.

Held Back - Three Constant Themes

Below you will find three constant themes that affect every area of your table.

1. The Art of Setting Boundaries

Learning to establish boundaries is vital when dealing with adult children, grandchildren, new relationships, colleagues, and bosses. We cannot control how others behave toward us, but we can take charge of our actions. Saying 'No,' expressing emotions and feelings, being clear, and standing by our decisions might feel unfamiliar, yet they are crucial for maintaining healthy boundaries. Taking the time to define our boundaries and how to enforce them empowers us to navigate our relationships with confidence and self-respect.

2. Becoming True to Our Values and Principles

An essential step in our journey towards simplicity and self-awareness is aligning with our core values and principles. To achieve this, we must first identify and understand these guiding principles. Knowing what truly matters to us allows us to make decisions in harmony with our authentic selves.

3. Shedding Old Habits and Beliefs to Embrace Change

Throughout our lives, we acquire beliefs and habits that may no longer serve us. Recognizing each mannerism and proactively planning for change is essential for personal growth. Taking the time to identify the habits we wish to alter and addressing them one by one empowers us to evolve into the best versions of ourselves.

Space is Sacred

In the rush of human busyness, the significance of sacred space is often forgotten and neglected. Just like the calm before a storm or the seed's growth beneath the earth before sprouting above ground, we need moments of nothingness to heal, grow, and transform. When we hold ourselves in sacred space, clarity, and magic unfold rapidly. In this space, we can release old emotions, negativity, and baggage, while envisioning the reality we wish to manifest.

Embracing Sensible Selfishness is not about needing fixing; it is about recognizing our inherent perfection and unleashing our inner potential. We each have something beautiful inside, a higher potential, and dreams to transform into reality. To do so, we need to create space - a sacred rite of reflection, contemplation, and meditation.

In a world of infinite possibilities, our future remains unwritten. We hold the freedom card to shape our destiny. If we are to fulfill the Dalai Lama's prophecy that Western women will change the world, it is time to prioritize ourselves and strengthen our life's table with simplicity and purpose.

Architects of Destiny

We are the architects of our destiny. Through a wealth of experiences, nurturing relationships, prioritizing health, and continually seeking knowledge, we construct the resilient table of our lives. With the unwavering strength of self-confidence crowning our accomplishments, we become unstoppable forces, capable of embracing every opportunity and surmounting any challenge that comes our way.

As we embrace each element of the table, we embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and purpose, enriching our lives and the lives of those around us. Now is the time to be Sensibly Selfish and unleash the strength of our life's table to create a legacy of love and lasting impact.

May this analogy of the sturdy old-fashioned table serve as a constant reminder that, like the timeless piece of furniture, our lives are a masterpiece of resilience, grace, and authenticity. Here's to an inspiring and empowered life beyond 45 – a life where we shine brightly and embrace every chapter with open arms!
